PTSA in Cooling Towers

Fluorescent trace chemicals, when added to scale and corrosion inhibitors, play a crucial role in cooling tower water treatment applications. Trace chemicals such as PTSA can be actively measured with an in-line fluorometer to ensure an appropriate minimum level of inhibitor is maintained in the cooling water.

The continuous monitoring of the circulating PTSA enables precise and real-time control of water treatment parameters, ensuring the prevention of scale formation, corrosion, and microbial growth, ultimately enhancing the overall performance and longevity of cooling tower systems while reducing chemical and maintenance expenses.
