ORP in Pulp & Paper
The use of oxidation-reduction potential (ORP or REDOX) measurements in pulp and paper applications primarily involves chlorine injection (bleaching and disinfection) and oxidizer use. ORP monitoring can deliver real-time results enabling quick response and reduced downtime. Monitoring oxidation or reduction reactions can be useful at various locations in the production of pulp and paper:
