Ion-selective electrode (ISE) measurements play a crucial role in various aspects of pharmaceutical and biotech applications. Targeted ion measurements ensure the quality, safety, and efficacy of pharmaceutical products. The following examples of sub-applications where ISE measurements are critical:
- Calcium, sodium, potassium, and chloride are measured during the screening process of blood, urine, and other fluid samples
- Fluoride is measured in the production of vitamins, tablets, and toothpaste
