Conductivity in Environmental Monitoring
Conductivity sensors are a key tool in environmental monitoring programs and indicate potential impacts. Total dissolved solids (TDS) and salinity, which are derivatives of conductivity measurements, can change seasonally as the water resource responds to changes in weather, temperature, flows, and other natural impacts. Remote stations for environmental monitoring involve continuous conductivity measurements which can be data logged and transmitted wirelessly. AlpHa has sensor solutions uniquely tailored to each application, including long-term deployment sondes integrated with conductivity sensors, field / laboratory electrodes, continuously (process) monitoring sensors, and replaceable cartridge options.
