PAH (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon) monitoring provides a valuable analytical tool for research institutions and academic programs studying hydrocarbon pollution, environmental toxicology, and ecosystem health. Because PAHs are persistent organic pollutants commonly associated with petroleum products, they serve as a measurable indicator of anthropogenic environmental impact.

AlpHa’s XC-PAH sensor utilizes patent pending optical technology with the following unique features:
