Conductivity and total dissolved solids (TDS) measurements in pulp and paper production are invaluable to key aspects of the production process and wastewater mitigation. For example, water reuse applications in pulp and paper production utilize conductivity as a tool to ensure quality. Paper strength and sizing issues have a direct correlation to increases in conductivity. Conductivity is also a key tool in quality control of the various cooking liquor processes of pulp and paper production. AlpHa has sensor solutions uniquely tailored to each application, including continuous (process) monitoring sensors and laboratory / field electrodes for harsh environments.
